IMC preparation program

The DIMC examination is held in Edinburgh by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. The Examination is open to registered doctors, paramedics and nurses. The programme has three purposes.

  • To give you an insight to the exam so that you can decide if you would like to enter. Then there are a series of revision modules linked to the present examination syllabus.
  • To ensure base knowledge is acceptable
  • To identifiy areas of weakness that requires development to proceed onto the exam.

This programme is not a substitute for other reading or clinical practice but is designed to support your preparation for the DIMC.

The programme has two opening presentations that are open to everyone. This programme tries to support your preparation for the examination as well as challenge your thinking and clinical practice.
